Version 1.0 · Effective August 6, 2026
Self-serve and open to anyone. No negotiation, no signature — you accept these by enrolling through the Creator Program application.
These Terms govern participation in the BlindBook Affiliate Program, operated by WaterfowlAI, Inc. d/b/a BlindBook (“BlindBook”, “we”, “us”). By enrolling, you (“Affiliate”, “you”) accept these Terms.
This is not an employment, partnership, agency, or joint venture relationship. You are an independent party promoting BlindBook at your own discretion and expense.
2.1 Enrollment is free and open, subject to approval. We may decline or revoke enrollment at our sole discretion, at any time, for any lawful reason.
2.2 You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter contracts.
2.3 On approval you receive a unique affiliate code and tracking link. These identify you and may not be shared, resold, or transferred.
Breach of §3.2 forfeits unpaid commissions and terminates enrollment.
4.1 Rate. 20% of first-year net revenue from each Qualified Referral. “Net revenue” means amounts actually collected by BlindBook — after your audience’s 10% discount — less payment-processing fees, taxes, refunds, and chargebacks. Example: a $1,200 Clubs plan, discounted to $1,080, earns you $216.
4.1.1 Your audience discount. Your code gives the customer 10% off their first year. That discount is ours, not yours — it does not come out of your commission.
4.2 Qualified Referral. A new customer who (a) reaches BlindBook through your tracking link or applies your code at checkout, (b) completes purchase via BlindBook’s web checkout, and (c) remains a paying customer past the refund/cancellation window in §4.5.
4.3 In-app purchases are excluded. Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play — including Solo Pro — do not generate commission, because those platforms do not pass referral attribution to us. We know this is a real limitation. Commissions are currently earned on organization tiers purchased on the web: Hunt Crew, Clubs, and Outfitter Team.
4.4 Attribution window. 30 days from link click, last-touch. A code applied at checkout overrides link attribution.
4.5 When you get paid. Commissions are held for 60 days past the customer’s initial payment to cover refunds and chargebacks, then paid in the next monthly cycle. Minimum payout $50; balances below that roll forward.
4.6 First year only. Commission is earned on the customer’s first twelve (12) months. Renewals do not generate commission.
4.7 No commission on: existing customers, reactivating former customers, customers already in our sales pipeline at the time of referral, internal or team accounts, free tiers, or trials that never convert.
4.8 Changes. We may change rates or structure on thirty (30) days’ notice. Changes are not retroactive to referrals already made.
5.1 Disclosure is mandatory. Every piece of content containing your link or code must clearly and conspicuously disclose that you earn a commission, consistent with the FTC Endorsement Guides. #ad, “affiliate link”, or “I earn a commission if you sign up” all work. Burying it below a “more” cutoff or inside a hashtag block does not.
5.2 You may not claim capabilities BlindBook has not shipped. The current list is published in the Creator Media Kit and is incorporated here. As of this version, that includes: that a coming-soon feature is available today.
5.2a You may not make ranking claims — “world’s best”, “#1”, “nothing else comes close”, or comparisons to named competitors. The approved positioning line is “BlindBook — the Ultimate Hunting Management System”, used as written. “Hunting,” not “Waterfowl” — six game types are live on paid tiers.
5.3 You may not state third-party statistics about waterfowl populations, hunter numbers, harvest, or habitat — including anything attributed to USFWS, Ducks Unlimited, Delta Waterfowl, or any agency — without our prior written approval.
5.4 You may not guarantee hunting outcomes, regulatory compliance, or legal results on BlindBook’s behalf.
5.5 You are responsible for the accuracy of your own content. We are not liable for claims you make that we did not approve.
6.1 We grant a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use BlindBook names and logos solely to promote BlindBook under these Terms, and only in the forms supplied in the Creator Media Kit.
6.2 Do not alter, recolor, stretch, add effects to, or combine our marks with other marks. “BlindBook” is always one word, both capitals, never “Blind Book”.
6.3 All goodwill from your use runs to BlindBook. The license ends when your enrollment ends.
7.1 Either party may terminate at any time, for any reason, on written notice (email is sufficient).
7.2 On termination you must stop using our links, codes, and brand assets. Commissions properly earned before termination remain payable, subject to §4.5 — unless termination was for breach of §3.2 or §5, in which case unpaid amounts are forfeited.
7.3 We may modify these Terms at any time by posting an updated version. Continued participation after the effective date is acceptance.
8.1 The program is provided AS IS. We do not guarantee any level of traffic, conversions, or earnings, or uninterrupted availability of tracking.
8.2 Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
8.3 Our total liability is capped at the commissions paid or payable to you in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
8.4 You will indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your content, your promotional methods, and your breach of these Terms.
9.1 Governing law: Missouri.
9.2 No exclusivity — deliberately. You may promote competing products, and we may enroll any number of affiliates. We don’t ask unpaid affiliates for exclusivity: you’re paid on performance, so a referral you send is a referral we wanted, and one you don’t send costs us nothing. Exclusivity is something we pay for, at the partner tiers.
9.2.1 What we do ask. Whatever else you promote, you will not (a) disparage BlindBook, or (b) represent yourself as an official, exclusive, or authorised BlindBook partner, spokesperson, or employee. You’re an independent affiliate; say so if asked.
9.3 Taxes. You are responsible for your own taxes. We will collect a Form W-9 and issue a Form 1099 where required.
9.4 Entire agreement: These Terms, with the Creator Media Kit’s claim rules, are the whole agreement for participation in this program.
