Where has Louisiana public hunting been productive?
Start with recorded harvest and the participation behind it. White Lake has daily program records; the broader area file has combined multi-year checked totals. Each answers a different question.
Two seasons, two programs, 119 observed program dates and one no-show with blank measures. Explore weighted ducks per reported hunter visit, total ducks and visits, then narrow to a month or date range.
2024–25 and 2025–26. Program-level detail; no blind or pool locations in this source.
White Lake harvest by season and program
The guided marsh and rice field are different hunting programs. These are recorded outcomes, not evidence that changing programs causes a particular result.
Weighted ducks per hunter visit = total ducks ÷ total reported hunter participations. Source: LDWF daily tables, pages 2–3.
Search LDWF’s Waterfowl category from September 2023 through March 2026. Compare total game checked with people checked. This file does not supply daily duck counts or a verified hunter-visit denominator, so it stays separate from White Lake.
What can these records tell you?
They show recorded outcomes for the covered programs and periods. They do not establish the best place to hunt today, predict your success or prove that weather caused a result. Unlisted dates remain gaps. Weather joins and blind-level comparisons will need additional trustworthy evidence.
